Geneticist
What is everyone's opinion on co-op? Do you guys think that it would increase the competitiveness of a medical school application? I recently got accepted into science co-op because I want to have a few backup plans in case I do not make it into med school, but I'm just curious if anyone knows how the administration looks at co-op. I'm double dipping co-op
AndreaM
I liked my co-op term and it helped me keep from getting into debt in my undergrad, but I have no idea how UBC views it. I don't see how it could hurt, so if you are interested you might as well go for it. Plus if you get something medical related it can help you confirm that medicine is actually for you and give you experience to put on your application.
