how to report multiple volunteer positions

I volunteered at the same institution for 2 consecutive years but in different areas.

 

Do I enter that as 2 separate entries in the Nonacademic section? Or as a 2-year term?

Depends on what you want to highlight and how different the areas were. If you want to highlight the fact that you volunteered at this institution more so than the actual positions, then just list it as a 2 year term and then under "description", list the exact positions that you held.

 

If it was the actual positions that were more important, than list it as 2 separate entities.

 

In my opinion, I think it would probably be better to group them into one because that way your length of commitment is longer (2 years vs. 1 at each).
