westerner
so i am going on exchange this year (full year) to the university of leeds in the UK. i have been having a tough time filling out my schedule as i have to find courses there and get them pre-approved over here so that they will transfer back and count towards my degree. i think i have it almost complete i just have a few general questions... i have made sure to get 3.0 credits that will transfer back to western as 3000-level or 3rd year level courses, which i know is a requirement for some schools, if not then it at least shows that i didnt take all bird courses. but other than those 3.0, the rest are only coming back as 2nd year (2000-level)...do you guys think thats a problem? i dont see it being a huge issue as long as i keep the 3rd year ones as well.... also, i am thinking of taking one that is a first year course, i dont think this is a problem either right? (i know a lot of people take 1st yr courses in later years) this means ill have 3.0 at 3rd year level, 1.5 at second year and .5 at 1st year...if that makes sense. what do you guys think? also if anyone else has been on exchange, how did u find it coming back to your home school?
