charliegook Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 First time OOP applicant to U of C. Just wondering what to do in terms of entering the MCAT info on the website app. 2008 9PS/12BS/11VR/O = 32O --> OOP formula (w/4.0 grad GPA) is 464.494 --> 10/15 MCAT pre-interview score 2009 12PS/10BS/11VR/Q = 33Q --> OOP formula (w/4.0 grad GPA) is 450.98 --> 11/15 MCAT pre-interview score So, two question. 1) Do they allow you to pick-and-choose which one you put in, or are you obligated to put the one with the highest overall score (in this case, 2009). 2) If they do let you choose, should I go the safe route and choose the one with the highest formula score? Or is the 1 mark difference in MCAT PI score a big enough deal to use the 2009 score and hope I pass the formula cut-off. Whoops.....post turned out longer then I thought it would. Sorry for the rambling.
LostLamb Posted September 9, 2009 Report Posted September 9, 2009 phone and ask, or alternatively email and they will be in touch in less than a day. I think they take the best overall score, but not certain. Whoops, you're OOP...I think they only consider the set with the best BS/VR scores for the formula, which would be your first set of scores. Again...phone call is in order I think
DrManhattan Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 You can put in whichever set of scores you choose (in the applicant manual it says that they will only accept one set of scores). I would contact them to double check though.
