How to release MCAT scores for U of C?

Recommended Posts

Hi you guys, I would apprecite your words of wisdom.

I read the U of C applicant's manual and it says that U of C only accepts ONE set of scores. Now, I wrote last summer and again this summer...how do I select ONLY one score to go to them? The MCAT thx website said somewhere that I can't exclude any scores that were written after 2003...or sth along those lines...

AND SO, I haven' sent in my scores yet, for fear that the wrong one will be looked at! :P Soo, how is this done please and thank you :o

You have to submit all your scores, unfortunately they don't give you any other option.

However, don't worry about the U of C seeing other test scores. I have rewritten the MCAT and they literally use just your best set. The admissions committee doesn't even see your other scores.

I believe there is an option on MCAT THx which allows you to release specific scores...no?

Only for scores prior to 2003. For post-2003 scores the THx system will only allow you to release them all. I'm not sure why they differentiate between pre-post 2003, it would be nice to be able to submit just one set. At least the U of C does not penalize you for writing more than once.
