Do we really need to put our high school/university education?

Recommended Posts

Heyy,

Have you all been putting down your high school and university education down under your sketch under formal education?

Somehow, I actually managed to fill out all 48 activities (I know, it shocked me too...I split a lot of things up though), so I'm wondering if I should even bother putting down my education since they already have my transcript...

NOt putting in my HS education. Cos it's understood that to go to univ, you needed to graduate HS

Well for some schools, you need to have graduated from an Ontario high school in order to be considered an Ontario resident.....so by leaving it blank, you risk being considered OOP.

Aahh...so that's why ppl are doing it? Thanks star. I think i'll include it too , cos I AM in province. Are you guys including the school you graduated from then? I.e. what would happen if I attended two different high schools? Do I put both? or just the last one?

McMaster cares too.

If you look at their online pdf, they say that they reserve 90% of their seats for in-province students and 10% for OOP.

To be considered in-province, you have to have resided in Ontario for at least 3 years since the age of 14.....so basically if you went to high school in Ontario, you're set, regardless of where you live now.
