Do med schools have the permission to dig into the SIN card records to see who from their applicants got paid in a "legal" (via SIN card number records by the employee) way and how much etc?

I don't think so. Sounds like invasion of privacy/confidentiality.

if they are sketched out they can or will ask you for permission. Declining permission gives them real reason to get sketched. As long as its nothing really out of the ordinary you should be ok though. I think people worry way too much about these little details

 

obviously the key thing is to have your actual references down pat. Verifiers are not going to make or break you unless you are an avid liar
