UBC Pre-Reqs

So... in looking at the pre-reqs, my question is about first-year chemistry. Are labs included/required?

 

First- I thought I was good to go, because I took IB Chemistry (Higher Level) in high school and got a 5, which was good enough to get university credit for first year Lecture AND LABS at my undergrad school.

 

I just noticed that a 5 is not good enough to count for UBC Med (requires 6 or 7), but thankfully in first-year I chose to re-take the Lecture... but NOT THE LAB.

 

So I suppose the question I am actually asking is: Does UBC require the lab portion of first-year chem as well?

Yes they do. At UNBC the lab and lecture are separate and UBC requires both courses.
