Graduate Diploma leveraging undergrad?

Good morning all,

I am currently completing my undergrad (honours) degree in BC and am looking into doing the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research at McGill to leverage my mediocre undergrad cummulative GPA. Universities out west don't seem to offer such programs and as such no one has been able to give me feedback on how effective pursuing such a program would be for future applications to medicine.

I intend on rewriting my MCAT for a more competitive score and only took five courses per semester for the last two years of my degree (4 before that). Is McGill Medicine even an option for me even with a completed grad diploma?

I apologize if I'm being redundant with this thread and it has been covered before. Any help would be really appreciated.

Cheers!
