Evacuation of HUB and Rutherford

Just wondering if anyone knew what happened today at HUB/Rutherford.... I know that all of HUB and Rutherford were evacuated because of a chemical being released of some sort (which is really weird considering it's nowhere near the chem building....) and that there is apparently one fatality:eek:

Anyone know any more details?

Word has it that a HUB student commited suicide, and they thought that it was hydrogen sulfide at first which is why they sent out emergency texts telling people to evacuate.

Not good. I hope everyone that knows the person is doing ok (given the circumstances). What a hard thing to deal with. My heart goes out to the person's family and friends.

Apparently, he was also trying to take his roommates with him, which is even more unfortunate.

I know his two room mates. From what I hear he wasn't specifically trying to take them out per se, but hydrogen sulfide is deadly in even the most minute concentrations. They weren't injured, but it's been pretty devastating for them...
