MCAT biology: EK vs TPR

Hello all,

I am wondering, for those that solely used EK for the biology prep, was it enough to give you a decent mark? Did you feel it prepared you well? I am asking because I have both PR and EK texts, and the PR seems very lengthy (ie, all the biochemistry such as aerobic respiration, and krebs cycle, etc) EK, as always, condenses the info into exactly what you need, but someone recommended me to use kaplan for the biology section, saying "TPR probably has too much, and EK not enough." So, for those that used kaplan, how was it? I really don't want to buy more books, but if it is really good, I guess I'll invest in it. Thoughts, anyone?

Thanks in advance :)

Im considering buying the 1001 EK orgo passages to improve my orgo skills. How did you feel it helped you with your orgo?

I didn't really prepare for orgo that much, but I felt it gave me enough background to be familiar enough to answer the questions. From those, I was able to deduce answers (eliminating 2, leaving 2 choices left)
