new BC resident definition

Recommended Posts

mm, I am a bit confused, the website says lived in BC for 4 years after the age of 12, I lived in BC for more than 4 years after the age of 20, how can I get any seondary school transcript as proof of residency?

In your case, you would need some other way of proving that you have lived here, such as tax returns filed as a bc resident, a bc driver's license, bc utilities in your name etc.

i hesitate to send in my high school transcript because I didn't do very well back then :D

If I check the option "I have lived or studied in BC for 3 consecutive years immediately prior to the application deadline", it doesn't seem to require any supporting documentation. Is that correct?

I didn't have to send in any documentation for that option last year, so unless they suspect you haven't lived in BC for that time, I think you should be fine.
