finks
Hey There! Just wondering how UofC views masters degrees, do they help or are they not taken into account? Thanks, Finks
Starling
They don't give bonus points per se (although their academic score is somewhat of a mystery, so who knows), but they do take your master's grades into account.

Dr.Henderson
Hey There!Just wondering how UofC views masters degrees, do they help or are they not taken into account? Thanks, Finks There's a handy thread in the Non-trad forum that tells you all about grad student policies: http://www.premed101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39007 UofC allows you to count your Master's degree towards full-time study provided that you complete at least a half course for which a letter grade is given. Which is awesome, but its only for the purposes of getting an interview.
Who M.D.
They don't give bonus points per se (although their academic score is somewhat of a mystery, so who knows), but they do take your master's grades into account. It's a while since I applied, but I thought there was one point for a completed Master's and two for a completed PhD.
shin
It's a while since I applied, but I thought there was one point for a completed Master's and two for a completed PhD. I think this might be true for the Manitoba or Alberta application... but I'm going from memory here, so i'm not positive.
