Repitition between work/activities and Personal essay

I find that I will probably have quite a bit of overlap between these two sections. At least in terms of a few key activities...What do you guys think about this?

It's fine, most people will have overlap because many of their activities helped them confirm their desire for medicine, therefore it makes sense to overlap.

 

They key is that your PS shows how you developed as a person, while your activities list is in detail and describes the role.
