calijello
In many of the extracuriccular/volunteer threads I've seen alot of 'do what you want or what you love so you can show true passion for it'. Well, I was wondering if there are any extracuricculars I can do that'll look good for med but is related to music! Any ideas/ suggestions? dr_horrible
Well, any type of "group" musical activity can show many great characteristics - team work, dedication, etc. But besides that, I think having things like this to talk about shows that you are a well-rounded person. I sing in a choir, and I've even done a few musicals. It was fun to talk about these things in my interviews, and kind of showed (I hope) that I have other interests outside of medicine!
