Organic and Inorganic Chem. as pre-reqs for US

I checked Wayne State and a couple of other universities for pre-reqs, I think all of them had 2 semesters of organic and inorganic as pre-reqs.

To people who applied, did most canadian-friendly US medschools require 2 semesters of organic and inorganic chem?

I've taken organic chem 1, but I really don't want to take organic chem 2 and 2 semesters of inorganic chem. unless it's generally needed.

Thanks!

Well if you've taken general chem as your o-chem pre-reqs, you are fine. "Inorganic" just means general chem. And yes, most canadian-friendly schools (if not all), require 2 semesters of organic.

Yeah. You'll need a full year of general chem (+lab) and a full year of organic chem (+lab) for just about every school in the US. More schools require chem than biology.
