Guest p0stman
I remember buying a giant Biochemistry textbook (among many others) for undergrad which I never even read once... I was wondering if there are any textbooks on the first year's list that really aren't necessary (if any) as the notes and resources sufficiently cover the material. I'd also prefer not to lug around a 1,000 page textbook all over the place if I didn't have to.
BigM
This should be what you are looking for: http://www.premed101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42411 The general consensus is to wait until your classes start and the profs will announce which books you actually need. However that link above is a good reference if you want to look around and try to get your books from amazon, etc. to save a bit of cash.
