True true, but often there is space for a few more. To be polite don't let "extra" guests sit until the rest of the guests have a place.

I wonder if that will be as possible since we upped the number comming from your year but 33 (potentially a 100ish more people being there)? I am hearing a lot about the the school reaching saturation in some ways lately (not in a negative way, but the school is expanding to its projected capacity)

Fair enough, but there are also students who don't come to white coat and standing space at the back. Even if family and friends can't make it into the hall, it's a great day for them to come and wish the first years luck.

 

Re. capacity...I would argue that we are well over capacity for space and have been for a few years, but that's an issue for a different thread/meeting space
