KTWD Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Hey, So I wrote my MCAT last year. I decided it would be a great idea to study for my MCAT and write my Masters thesis and defend all in one summer. Anyways I did O.k, BS 10 PS 9 Verbal 9 Q. I am planning on re-writing this wednesday, my practise for bio and physics are going great(12-14)! Verbal not so much, like 7,8.I ususally get one or none wrong on passages, but then I get one that kills me and it KILLS me. Should I be re-writing? Is this a mistake? As of now my scores let me apply to U of T. My GPA is 3.844, which means Ottawa is out. Will a 28 Q get me into any schools in the states? Freaking out about the verbal. THX K
Kyleh Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 I think you should definitely rewrite. Ideally you want 30+.
champ Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 I think you should re-write aswell, It would open way more doors for you if you can crack the 30 barrier with a balanced score it looks like you are pretty close to that.
KTWD Posted August 1, 2010 Author Report Posted August 1, 2010 Thanks guys! Needed to hear that, cause I was going to chicken out there.LOL
Shell Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 Hey I think you should rewrite as well. I just have a quick question, is it possible to postpone the MCAT till next year? I am registered for 9/11
oto Posted August 1, 2010 Report Posted August 1, 2010 I am registered for 9/11 We'll all be mourning when you're writing.
Shell Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 Confused as to what you mean, mourning that I as a person will be writing or because it's a sad day?
