Second package?

Recommended Posts

package as in through regular mail? I'm not sure if we are getting anything through the regular mail.

About the email...I think they would be sending more information regarding oweek etc. soon.

did you get an email regarding your student number? another email regarding the white coat survey?

The only other thing you'll be getting is an e-mail from the O-week coordinator re: O-week, which we got on august 20th last year. Relax and enjoys yourselves ladies and gents. Oh, and prepare your livers. :D

My liver is a well-seasoned veteran on the battlefield and need no such preparation.

+1

My roommate bought a kegfridge last year, and when there is cheap beer on tap 24/7 and 7 people under one roof Tuesday night becomes Friday night.

Maybe there is a reason this thesis is getting done so late...

PS I was in the admissions office today and I overheard mention that they just e-mailed out a second set of documents that people have to sign. I haven't gotten anything yet but I suspect it's coming.

Yeah, it's by e-mail. It seems, since epicfail says he received his yesterday, that they are sending them out in a staggered fashion. I'm guessing yours will be coming soon/they haven't missed you.

Yeah, it came an hour ago. I was just being whiny because I have nothing better to do. Fun reading, and GO BREAKFAST!

not going to lie I love breakfast, dunno if it seems gongshow enough we'll have to wait and see i guess. I suppose there is always the opportunity for beereal (beer + cereal) and beeroffee (can of beer + one pack instant coffee), don't bash it before you try it.

out of curiousity it says that Londoners have to pay $10 for maildrop. Do windsorites have a mailbox too or no?

I believe they still employ the carrier pigeon system in Windsor. You don't need to pay anything upfront but you need to keep a bag of bird seed around if you want return mail :D

What is this for? to get things mailed to you that aren't a part of school?

Not sure what it is for. Here's what the pdf in the email says:

Please bring the following with you to Registration:

- $135.00 Student Registration Fee (to be collected by your Orientation Coordinators) Please make cheque payable to: UWO Medicine Orientation Week

-$10.00 Mailbox Key Fee - CASH London Students Only

(to be collected by Admissions & Student Affairs)

- One piece of government-issued Photo ID and your student number. You will need these to pick up your WesternONE ID card.
