champ
Is anyone else having problems fitting in their pre req courses under the 300 character limit? What did u guys put for classes that had separate lab components, im pretty sure thats whats putting me over the limit by 30 characters. I tried to abbreviate, chemistry to chem, and biology to bio and biochemistry to biochem. there must be a way to make it fit, im just not sure how... shannn
biochem = bchem orgo chem = ochem / orgo phys chem/gen chem = pchem / gchem also, limit your spaces It's pretty tough, but hopefully you can cut out 30 characters that way
champ
thanks, yeah i was wondering what the limit to the abbreviations might be lol
supafield
Last year they were down to one letter I thought... B, C, O, X or something lie that.... when you're on the Ottawa pre-req site, click the help button if there is one still.
champ
This might be a stupid q, but they wouldnt consider the marks of your pre reqs that you list assuming they are above 70 percent anyway? Just cause I chose courses that had the smallest course descriptions to meet the character limit and not necessarily my best marks.
shannn
One of my pre-reqs was a B-, and it didn't affect my application They just need you to have the credit from the pre-req, doesn't matter what mark you got. wGPA is the only part of your GPA they look at

DrOz
I used the B C X O or whatever system and typed out the course number ex. CHEM 1234 was a chem course on my transcript. Used barely any space.
