Patho_Medicus
Hey guys, So for publications did you list each and every one of them individually in the ABS or do you put one listing stating you have X publications and they can check the details from your CV in the graduate package? I just feel like a good 50% of my ABS is research ..and I don't know if this is favorable or not, certainly I want to portray my passion for research but not at the price of sacrificing my well roundedness. Advice? Cheers! PM
Medlor2010
I'm planning on listing any significant ones that I would like the committees to notice, though I definitely won't be able to have 50% of my items as published articles. On the same note, another question here. Do we really need a verifier for published material? Or can we simply write the reference for the paper? Haha not that 50% of my material is published stuff, but research also includes summer projects, presentations and conferences. Therefore in total it looks like I spent half my life doing research:eek:! To answer your question I just used my PI as a verifier/ lab manager. I doubt they would call, they can easily google or pubmed it. They will also see it in your CV!
