charmer08
I'm going to be giving the mcat for the first time and am kinda hopeless for verbal. If I do bad and repeat it, would it lower my chances of getting accepted to a US medical school? I've heard people say that US medschools don't like mcat repeats. The Law
Obviously it doesn't help... But maybe it's not the be all and end all of things. Let's see what happens to me this cycle and we'll know more! =p

I think the unofficial rule is: 5 times max for US, 3 times max for Canadian schools.
The Law
I think the unofficial rule is: 5 times max for US, 3 times max for Canadian schools. Although for a tonne of schools, there is "no max" in Canada. A lot of schools will just use it as a screening tool, so "make cutoffs/flag" = continue to next round. In Ontario, most will use most recent MCAT... OOP most will use best.
