lala land
I am going in my 4th year at UofT. My cGPA is very low. So I was thinking of doing another BSc degree in another school (UofT wont let me do a B.Sc again) and this time hopefully with much better GPA can have my shot at some of the med schools. I wanted to apply for 2011 fall session for the second degree, but I will have to take 2 more courses in summer of 2011 in order to graduate from UofT. Can I still get admitted to another university in fall? or do I have to come back in 2012? I emailed all the universities' admission office but no reply yet. If someone has dealt with situation like this before, your opinions/advice will be very helpful.
future_doc
Dear lala land. Your GPA is not competitive right? So, you can apply during the last year you are studying so long as you graduate in the spring. Have I answered you or am I missing something? You don't even have to finish your first degree (although you probably should for backup plans etc). Might even be useful as not all other schoools will let you take another bsc either if you already have one.
astrogirl
Could you define "very low" for us? Are you talking like 2.1 or like 3.6, because you still have options in either case, the options are just different.
Leon
For Ontario schools, is the OUAC still open and accepting applications?
