mystery_chick
I'm pretty much doing the last bits of packing before the big move and I'm wondering whether if I should pack my old notes from UG (ie from physiology and pharmacology courses). Have any current students ever found the need to have to go back to their older notes for clarification or are the class notes sufficient? I've gathered a surprisingly large amount of notes over the four years (who knew? ) and there's not a lot of space at my new apartment but if they're useful I suppose I can find a nice nook on the bookshelves for them. runningdoc
Did you use your high-school notes in University? If not, I would say that they probably aren't going to be helpful. You will have more than enough information to sift through with new textbooks and lecture notes to fill in any gaps. If you want to keep them to look back on 20 years from now, that's one thing, but I really wouldn't suggest keeping Undergrad notes...at best they are going to be a tiny bit helpful here and there but really, all of that information is a simple google/wiki/pubmed search away from your fingertips. DOC_Ma
My original plan was to burn these notes on my camping trip but got rid of them earlier due to no space for other stuff in the house......
b3ar
no, you will have more than enough info to learn from in class. you won't need your physio or pharm notes, etc. you won't have time anyway. the only exception is maybe anatomy and i don't plan to keep my first year notes either.. probably just throw them up when i move again i speak from uoft experience though
