Shell
Hello all, I tried searching on the forums but couldn't find an answer. I am set to take the MCAT on Sept 11. However, I have been falling very behind in my studying, mostly due to family/friends and stuff. Family members who are ill need my help etc. I had set aside 4 months for studying but was just not able to handle these distractions. My question is that if I write in Sept and in Jan/Feb. Will med schools take the best MCAT score or the average. I checked on medical school websites but no help. Would it be useless/harmful of writing the MCAT 50% unprepared. Practice test has been abysmal. Thank you for any help.
Shell
This is quite frustrating. I have been researching for a while and can't find this info. Whether or not med schools look at the most recent MCAT score or the average? Any help would be GREAT!
MoMed
My understanding is that Queens looks at your highest MCAT score. Toronto, Western, and McMaster only look at your latest MCAT, so no you won't be penalized for doing badly on your first test.
Sarah_2020
Most recent score
TheBoss
I don't know of any Canadian med schools that use your average MCAT score, only best or most recent. Does anyone know of any Canadian med schools that average your MCAT scores?
