entity
Hello! I want to make sure I'm sending everything out to UBC (I am an OOP student). I need to send a transcript and a photocopy of a citizen ship card, correct? There is nothing more to it than that? Also I plan on sending them together to UBC MD office. Is that alright? Thanks! medgirl08
Transcripts, MCAT and proof of citizenship (along with payment) are the items indicated in the application. I think that's pretty much it. And yes it goes to the MD Admission office.
entity
I've been trying to find info about letters of recommendations. Do we need to send them at all? Thanks!
future_doc
If nowhere to be found, why not send adcoms a simple email or just call them? K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid).
tennisgirl
I'm QUITE sure that LORs don't need to be sent until after the interview... or after you receive an offer of interview. I read this on the site somewhere and recall me telling myself not to worry about LORs for UBC just yet. I'll try to find the link again and post it here. Here it is: http://www.med.ubc.ca/education/md_ugrad/MD_Undergraduate_Admissions/Timeline_2010_2011.htm UBC will only accept references online. Applicants who are invited for interviews must submit names of 3 referees. Using the OAS account, applicants notify said referees via email. Referees are then given secured access to complete the online reference forms. Detailed instructions will be provided at this time. Unsolicited letters of recommendation will not be evaluated or included with applications.

red&black
Indeed. Do you even have citizenship documents? Well I have my Canadian passport and birth certificate. But otherwise no. Glad it's one less thing I have to think about for this application
kylamonkey
For activities such as hiking, camping etc. can we put ourself as a verifier or should we put friends or something? I put a qualifier after friends when I use them as verifiers. Something like: "Friend- only available contact to verify solo travel" DO NOT put yourself as a verifier!!!!
