angad22
Hi, I have a GPA of only 3.3 from an Ontario University and an MCAT score of 35. Do I stand a chance applying to any American Universities if I do it within the next month? Thanks so much and sorry about the repetitiveness. thegame11
US schools look favourably on high MCAT. Your slightly lower than average matriculated GPA may hurt you. Your application will be in the mid-to-late pile if you apply next month.
The Law
Your excellent MCAT score mitigates your low GPA, but the longer you wait, the less your chances become. I do think you can gain an acceptance, but your chances will be lower because of timing, so if i was you I'd try to submit quickly (i.e. make yourself do it by the weekend or something). I submitted my WashU secondary application on October 8th last year and I was still called in for an interview, but I'm pretty sure I was interviewing for the waitlist, which I did get waitlisted The 3.3 would concern me, but the 35 is excellent. I totally think you could get in somewhere. Just be quick

Your AMCAS gpa most probably is around the average matriculated gpa and the MCAT is high not medium, I would have applied if I were you.
