can you use point form and short form for the activities description (ex. employment, volunteer, etc) like they do for Ontario medical schools. Or are they looking for a detailed paragraph of 250 words?

you can use whatever you want--nothing is stopping you. However, you should be made aware that it is 250 CHARACTERS, not words. It equates to about 3 lines.

and I would not go the point form way. They have to read thousands of these. I like the idea of them reading a coherent sentence.

point form can be just as coherent as any sentence.

 

With 250 characters you really have to make each letter count. You can try writing full sentences and find out the hard way.

So, I haven't applied before and this may sound like a stupid question, but do the descriptions contain just what you did, or should they include what you learn from it ?

 

I would really really appreciate if someone would post even one example of how it can be done.
