tnfifn
From the online application: The reference section allows a referee to provide a letter of reference electronically. The referee will be required to answer specific questions about you. Your referee will be addressing the following points: 1. Do you feel this applicant should be admitted into the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry? Please explain why or why not. 2. Would you have him/her as your personal physician? Please explain why or why not. 3. Please address the moral and ethical characteristics of the applicant. 4. Please comment on any/all outstanding characteristics (the strengths and weaknesses) of the applicant.

Glad they've made the transition to electronic! Makes life much easier!
LostLamb
Is this bad in any way? One is from the academic, research side, and the other knows me from a volunteer position. On an unrelated note: Is the UAlberta reference form just a space to type a "letter", or does it ask several questions with space to answer them? I don't think so. It is more important what they say, not who they are. You are covering both bases (volunteer/extracurricular and academics) so you should be good to go. Good luck!
