How to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Recently, Ontario has approved the creation of NP-a ( nurse practitioner- anesthesiology) because of ridiculously long surgery wait times. It is only available at U of T currently. There are two avenues for attaining and NP-A license, one is a diploma program for currently licensed NPs and the other is a similar NP education with emphasis on anesthesiology. Pre- req are listed here taken from the U of T website.



Additionally, I think it's awesome that the scope of practice for RN's is improving. Make me so excited for when I write the test!
