I have been practicing some MCAT passages for a while now & I have realized a major weakness; assumption/inference problems. I seem to be able to narrow the choices down most of the time, but I usually pick the wrong one. Does any have any advice on how to improve this weakness?

usually one of the two you narrow it down to will be TOO VAGUE or TOO specific, or bring in too much outside information to the point where it becomes seemingly irrelevant. Try to avoid such answers, and stick to the point, to the CORE issues/concerns that are being addressed. This works for the bio section, but the verbal is a bit more tricky. Still you need to step back and figure out the essence of the point, understand it, and apply it in the best possible way. And the only way to do that is practice....
