Twinbird24
Lets say student A gets a 100% average and student B get an 89% average and both are converted into a 4.0 GPA. Would med schools look more highly of student A or does it not matter to them because they both have a 4.0 GPA?

They will care about the difference, but otherwise at most schools anything over 90% is the same 4.0 GPA

Applemanv3
On OMSAS scale, 89 is 3.9. Trust me. That fact almost cost me my application. Luckily, an exam reread saved me.

firesinx
89 is a 4.0 A: 85+ A- (3.7):80-84 LOL, this guy is a UofT student. Sadly 99% of UofT student don't udnerstand their scale.... UofT scale: 89% = A = 4.0 @ UofT OMSAS scale: 89% = A = 3.9 @ UofT There is NO school where you get 85-89.99% that means it's a 4.0, if anyone tells you UofT has it, they have no idea what their talking about.
