anxious_101
FYI, U of T health service offers complete immunization and TB testing at cheaper rates than at most family doc clinics. Best part is the hepatitis B vaccine is offered FREE of charge for U of T students if you need a new series or a booster shot: http://healthservice.utoronto.ca/Services-Offered/Immunization-and-TB-Testing.htm
drkwhy
I swear TB testing and most immunization is free...I don't think I've paid my family doc once for anything. But that's for the info! Great to know in case we're ever in need of an immunization.

How about the health insurance we get at U of T as a med student; does it cover things like the dentist, vaccines, etc? Does the coverage extend to the summer or only the academic year? LubDub
No way! Argghh...I just shelled out $60 for a TB Skin Test and now they're telling me to bring more money for the other shots I need. Am I still eligible for the free health service even though I won't be registered for the school year till August?
blindsight
If you are a hospital employee, you can also likely go to Occ Health on your break for your free TB skin tests (not your other immunizations though).
