Hockey_whiz
I'm at the UofA but this spring I am taking Pol S through Grant Macewan distance learning to earn credit towards my degree. C- is all I need to earn transfer credits; thus, regardless if I get an A in the course or a C, it'll just show up as "transfer credit granted from Grant Macewan Pol S 101" and it won't show my letter grade. With that being said, do med schools look at all the transcripts you have ? or will they just look at my uofa transcript? This is the only course that is on my grant macewan transcript. Mithril
They look at the transcripts from all post-secondary institutions you've attended.
cnb88
Like Mithril said, they look at everything (since you have to submit it all). Not sure if they look at College courses, but that doesn't apply to you since MacEwan is a University now. You'll have to submit that transcript along with your UofA one. It'll show up on the UofA as "transfer credit", but since you'll have to sumbit the transcript for MacEwan (even if that's the only course you ever take from them), they'll see the grade whether it's a C- or A+. Hockey_whiz
Thanks for the quick and helpful reply everyone! This really sucks. I have an A+ going into the final and if I skip the final I'll still end up with a B-. I'd much rather spend the next couple days catching up on MCAT material rather than studying for political science.. sigh.
