jordan19
How is this test for the VR? Is it similar difficulty to the actual test or much lower? Thanks
limoncello
I found the real MCAT verbal to be harder than any verbal practice tests I have taken. The passages were longer and I felt that the questions were more difficult. But I think the main issue I had is that I run out of time, and was therefore stressing too much. If you manage to finish this section with some time left and do relatively well on practice tests than you should be fine.

Erk
VR varies a bit depending on the passages, so one MCAT varies from another. It's all bellcurved though, so in the end your marks should be consistent if you get a hard VR. Almost anything is good VR practice; you can even find free VR practice online that's not bad, but examkrackers' VR books are the best I've seen so far. limoncello
Yes I agree, EK passages are great. I made a habit of doing at least 2 passages every day. In addition, I recommend reading a lot. Books, newspapers, good quality journals such as the Economist etc.
Daniel
I am using EK 101, TPR verbal and TBR verbal. EK is the best, then TPR then TBR. TBR ramps up the difficulty level so its not reflective of the real thing. But practise is practise.
Gametime24
I found the passages on the actual MCAT to be longer as well. EK 101 was the best practice material I found during my studying.
