Applying this cycle but finishing later than April?

I'm entering my last year for my second honours degree which would have taken 3 years to complete. In order to graduate, I need to complete 5.5 credits.

 

Is it possible to apply this cycle but take 5 credits during the school year, and the 0.5 credits during the summer so I don't have to overload on courses? Or would this disqualify me from some schools. It is to my understanding that for the second degree applicants Western requires you to be in your final year of study, but does that include those who finish later than April?

I would preferably not have to overload while applying while maintaining my ECs.

I think some schools want you to finish by June, so if your uni does 2 month summer courses that might work.
