My chances

Hey,

 

I am a physiotherapist and have just recently graduated from my Masters.

During my first year at McGill University, I did pretty bad and ended with a 2.3 GPA. Video games destroyed me. I switched program, but for some reasons, the school didn't reset my GPA. I eventually graduated with a 3.2 GPA in Physiotherapy.

I then completed my masters in Physiotherapy and ended with a 3.7 GPA.

 

My results for the perception test: 20

My results for the carving test: 29

 

What do you guys think are my chances? I want to go to either U of Montreal or to U of Laval.

uh, can you clear up each year's GPA?

year 1-4

masters year 1-2?

like the GPA for each year?

 

what did u get as your AA on your DAT?

Masters 1-2: 3.7

DAT (AA): 24.5

I think zapman is looking for GPA of each individual year that will help others assess your situation more clearly

Bachelor:

 

year 1: 2.4 ( from the old program)

year 2: 3.51 ( includes summer term)

year 3:3.5

year 4: 3.41

 

Masters:

 

year 1 AND 2: 3.7

 

DAT(AA): 24.5

Can you actually get a fraction as your AA? Anyway, I think realistically, the only way you'll become a dentist was if you were able to be accepted to and finance a dental education in the US or Australia.

So I guess this leaves me with 2 options:

 

- to start a new undergrad and get top marks

 

or

 

- to start a PT career...
