I have AP credit for an english class and I got a score of 3 out of a scale of 1 to 5 on it which is the minimum to pass it and I was wondering if this will be calculated in my GPA or will it hurt me or is it probably extrmeley minor importance either way? I am guessing that it isn't important and the GPA won't be calculuated with it in it and even one med school said it won't be calculuated into my GPA but I want to be sure how most med schools in general view it. I will be covering though the prerequisites for english though by actually taking a couple courses of english that I didn't get credit for on the AP exam.

I also took AP English Lit and got a 3. Don't worry, it won't be calculated at all into your gpa. I retook first year English and got B+/B+ so that will be used instead.
