pokaroo
So, there has been some discussion about this previously.. but I've heard that research/publications often gets considered in your academic score? Would this be accurate to expect? or can we really never know.. Like Student A 3.7+ GPA Publications Years of research Student B 3.8-3.9 GPA No research No exposure I understand its all subjective, but has Deborah said anything or commented about this in the past? Thanks!
DanInVan
There are lots of people in my class with lots of experience/publications/etc. And there are lots without. There is no formula, it's a holistic review.
cryptic.living
I don't know if it's true, but I've heard from a couple of people that for graduate students, the academic score also considers publications, but for undergrad applicants, the research counts as just another facet of their non-academic qualifications...
