You should be more scared of not hitting the submit button this close to the deadline - what if somehow the system crashes near the deadline and you haven't submitted yet? Submit early, and get it over with.

Once you submit the app, you don't have to worry about it until ~February. One less stress in your life.

That's how I felt! Or I was worried I'd get stuck out in the bush (I'm heading out to camp without any internet access) and not make it back home in time for the deadline. I submitted mine yesterday, and I've never felt better Just do it. This close to the deadline it's not going to get any better, and you're running more of a risk of for some reason not being able to submit it!!

that is common actually! There is no harm in looking it over but at some point soon to be safe you have to send it in. Once it is out of your hands for a bit the stress level goes way down

Here is what I did. I finished my app. Printed out the whole thing and went over it once then passed each page to a trusted friend who also went over everything. Then I changed the 2 minor corrections and submitted it. Now I am going out for a drink.

Just submitted my OMSAS application. I think it got submitted successfully because I received my OUAC/OMSAS reference number as well as an email confirming that the visa payment went through. But I am bit nervous, because suddenly the "MiraPay screen" said:

 

"Processing Error:

This transaction cannot be completed for one of the following reason(s):

The transaction has already been processed or cancelled

The transaction has timed out

You are trying to access this page directly

Your browser is not set to accept cookies...."

 

Should I be worried about this if I have emails saying that applications was submitted and payment went though? Did anyone else get this message.

Hopefully someone else can tell you more, but I certainly did not get that with mine. I wouldn't worry too much because you have those two emails as confirmation if things need to get straightened out in the next couple days. I would probably email Omsas. I would also try to call them early on Monday morning, although I am sure that it will be the toughest day of the year to get through. (And I would also start your own thread specific to this topic to get more feedback for other posters who may have had this happen to them before).
