Fargo
I am regretting my career choice and feel that another field would be a better fit. I am kind of feeling intimidated by the prospect of approaching the program director of this program I want to go to. How do I go about doing this the right way? Does anyone have any advice? Is Kirsteen still around? She was good at this.
Fargo
I'm bumping this up because spammers are bumping up other threads.
Lactic Folly
Have you tried speaking to your school's program transfer committee/advisor? Do you know any fellow residents who started out in another program? Usually there are a few at each school at any given time. I think that you will want to be prepared to articulate exactly why you want to switch and why you will thrive in their program (i.e. not unhappy with medicine in general). If you have elective experiences and people who can vouch for you, it will help. Kirsteen hasn't posted here in a while, but you could try messaging her directly to see if she responds.
