hours input glitch?

Hi All,

 

When I choose any other option other than "Variable" - i.e., daily, weekly, monthly - I get an error box popping up saying "Hours Required", even though I have inputted a non-zero unmber into the hours box. Anyone else getting the same glitch? Am I missing something?

If I enter the total number of variable hours, save the activity, and then try to edit it afterwards, it shows up as 0.

What is everyone choosing for a job that you worked full-time hours during the summer and part-time during the school year? It says 'variable' is most suitable for discontinuous activities.

 

Not sure if I should put it as daily and then put the total hours or variable and then describe the variability (although there are no gaps in work).
