Entering Graduate Grades on system

Recommended Posts

The way my school does graduate grades is you get 1 grade for every 2 graduate courses which are taken over the span of your degree. Two of my grades happen to be listed as obtained in the summer session on my transcript. The Applicant Manual says that they don't consider grades obtained in the summer, however these courses are not "summer courses", but I can't exactly list them under the fall/winter term b/c that would be discordant with my transcript.

It probably doesn't matter much anyway because I don't have my graduate degree conferred yet, so they won't use those grades in my GPA calculation, right?

Yeah Dr. Walker said your degree needs to be finished by the time you apply, so it doesn't matter. For future reference though, on his blog, he says that "summer courses are not considered in GPA" is only for undergraduate degrees. Courses taken in the summer as part of graduate degree requirements will still be included.
