astr1x
Hey guys, I know the deadline for the supplemental graduate application is Dec 9, but I was wondering if everyone gets equal consideration if we make that deadline. Or is there an advantage to submitting it earlier? Thanks!
cryptic.living
No advantage to submitting early as far as I can tell. My friend and I submitted about 3 hours before the deadline... and we both got in.. although, the friend's interview and mine were separated by a 1.5 month gap. bailz
Makes sense to hold off as long as possible... ~2 months to beef up the CV.
photochem
Lol tell me about it...I'm labbing it up right now (on a Friday night :S) trying to churn out some more results to hopefully have one more entry in that pubs list come December
OIC
I submitted just in time, and I added another pub by sending an addendum in early January which also made it into the app because the interviewers had it in front of them during the interview. Don't worry too much, they aren't trying to screw you over.

In my case I'm also scrambling to wrap things up in the lab in the next couple of months, because if I do get an admissions offer I'll have to have the old thesis done and dusted come July.
