bbw
Hey all! So my friend in third year has basically missed two and a half months of his four year long classes. Two history and two english. Just wondering if anyone else has missed this much class and how you were able to catch up (if you could). It's just that my friend was asking me my opinion if he should drop his classes now before the deadline for marks appearing on the transcipt or just do the best he can and not waste a whole year. By the way, three classes have already had an assignment due (worth 10-15%) and now it's the time for second assignment to be handed in. He has also missed all the participation marks for tutorials up to now. Thank you in advance! Your help is appreciated!
Diceroll2011
I didn't attend my stats class for two months, and was able to come out with an A+ after catching up.
frozenarbitor
For history and english, I don't think you can catch up that easily. especially if there are marks lost already because of missed assignments and partcipation.

If he/she has a valid reason, he/she must try totalk to the profs... maybe they'll let him/her make up for the missed assignments, etc.

IamIDP
Is he hoping to go into Med? If yes, drop the courses without thinking... If he doesnt want to do med and his GPA doesn't matter, then he should just stay and get the credits as he can still pass despite a low GPA.
