TeddyC
Hey All, I was just viewing this thread on **DELETED**: One poster in the thread suggests writing a letter of intent to your top school's admissions office, letting them know your level of interest and the reasons their school is your #1 choice. Has anyone else heard of doing this? I troll the web often, searching advice for med applicants, and this is the first I've read of a letter of intent post-application. Is it something that only applies to Americans? Thanks! -Teddy
Diceroll2011
I would expect your letter to be sent straight to the garbage after being read by a secretary or at best making you look unprofessional prior to an interview.
future_doc
I would not recommend it as it is beyond the established process and could explode in your face.
Jochi1543
It's not customary in Canada and will not help you in any way.
Mithril
Works for American schools, but does not work for Canadian schools.
