Full course load requirements?

Recommended Posts

For medical schools in Canada, are there schools that require Xyears of full course load?

It seems that many schools recommend full course(30 or more) load but only require full time(24credit)

thanks!:)

Why would you ask which schools require a full course load in the UBC forum? In fact, if you do a search the conclusion is that it's different for every school. If you want to know what is considered a full course load, visit the website of every medical school you are interested in applying to.

Good answer. The definition of a full-time course load is unique to each school and is subject to change so you need to do your own research.

At UBC you can get in with part-time coursework, but you should have an explanation (it shouldn't be that you are just lazy, but instead that you were studying as well as working or taking care of your family or something).
