Well that makes sense - the Jan 11-13 weekend is just prior to final exams here at western for the fall term. The concern basically at least 1/2 of the classes won't be able to go. It's unfortunate for us too because the premeds (med 2017) may also have exams the week after the medgames because of the student strike... Like they say, you can't have the cake and eat it as well. It's too bad that some people like you are penalized though. However you're not missing much, the medgames are very very overrated.
