What does conferred date mean?

The application asks you to put the conferred date or expected date for your degree. Can someone clarify plz? Thanks!

It is the day you received your degree. This is the same as your date of convocation/graduation (degree conferral= degree received)

Okay, so I will be going into my fourth year of university so obviously I will have to put in the expected date instead of conferred. However, I don't know when the convocation would be next year. So what should I do? Any suggestions?

The first of the month in which convocation is typically held should suffice. I can't remember if it specifically says in OMSAS what to do if you don't know the specific date of an event. I seem to remember using the first of the month whenever I didn't know though.

Convocation is generally determined in advance for universities. Go to your university's convocation website and see if that provides you with any insight (it'll likely be some date in June).
